That's what the internet says, and we all know the internet is
always right. Well, actually, it
is educated speculation based on a few things such as BioWare's most recent twit (or is that a tweet?)
"2morrow will be a great day for BioWare fans. Just sayin'"
(Oh dear lord, and I thought they were an educated dev studio with a full grasp on the English language). And a not-so-subtle mention of what's in development at BioWare at the moment within a recent EA press release, has also added plenty of speculative fuel to the Dragon Age 2 fire (breath).
"... include the development of ongoing downloadable content for Mass Effect 2, one of the highest rated video games of all time, Dragon Age 2, the highly anticipated sequel to 2009's "RPG of the Year" Dragon Age: Origins, and the story-driven massively multiplayer online game, Star Wars: The Old Republic."
EA also mentioned the game was being developed some time ago, while BioWare's Dr Greg mentioned earlier in the year that a sequel would look "super hot" (and so it damn well should).
It's a bit of a no-brainer, and personally I'd rather hear news regarding Mass Effect 3, but Dragon Age fans will likely be dancing a jig at the news, so stay tuned to AusGamers for news of this "great day" when it arrives.

See a priest. Something is wrong with YOUR SOUL.

same here ... held my interest for 3-4 days but found myself rerolling different classes rather than getting into the storyline.

If it is Dragon Age 2, I hope that at least they adopt the Mass Effect dialogue system, it works so much better.

it has to be da2 since theyve said in the past that theyve planned a trilogy.

heh horses for courses... i rekn the combat in mass effect 2 is a bit gumby n tedious... too much hidng & ducking for cover & not enough mad fps skillz chaarging :p although i did get a bit tired of the combat in dragon age:origins as well... but it was nearer the end of the game where i had sussed out all the combo spells.
i'm still very impressed with how mass effect 2 looks... so shiny & clean! makes me wanna squeeze miranda's hexagons :D i actually liked the mining at first... but after about 10planets the sound they have for it became very annoying.

I remember those revenants on my first play through, god they would rape my rogue + party so quickly.

I played DA through and enjoyed it but wasn't happy with what my character ended up being and wanted to make it better for the expansion/sequels but the combat just isn't compelling enough for me to sit through it again. It's fine if you are into the story and the character development at the same time but when it comes to re-playability you rely solely on the game play to carry it. I was able to play through ME2 twice on the other hand.

Yep spot on. I'm worried if they don't improve with the old republic it's going to turn into a painful mmo experience that I'll still put up with to get through all the class stories.
