If you kept your special Redeem Code you might have gotten with your purchase of Alan Wake, you'll be nabbing the first of their follow-up episodes, The Signal, free and the second, The Writer, will set you back 560 Microsoft Points (less than AU$10). No redeem code? Nevermind, The Signal is 560 points too.

The Signal is the first of planned episodic releases for Alan Wake, expanding the game's narrative and tying up any loose ends you might have felt the game left you with. It's due to land on Xbox Live July 27.

In case you missed it, here's our Alan Wake review.
