With the 2010 World Cup ramping up, so are the desperate attempts to grab some mind share in the massive world of football video games. Electronic Arts are digging in with FIFA 11 against Konami's PES 2011 (links are to the game pages for each title with the latest info and E3 screenshots!).
There's a new E3 2010 trailer out for each of these titles today, highlighting various features. We've reproduced them both below, so let us know what you think is shaping up to look like the goods.
I <3 PES; I'm actually a couple editions behind though. PES5 was the first sport game I ever played that I felt captured the rhythm of the sport in any way; I freakin' loved it.
Yea I switched to Pes back in Pes 4, it was just such a superior soccer title back then, I haven't played a FIFA since 2003 due to Pes was constantly getting better.
Also all that test stuff in that FIFA 11 has been like, standard, for PES for ages, Nothing new with "stats effecting players abilities" in sports games in general actually.
