Well, Team Fortress 2 is out for Mac OS X now, and it seems if you purchase it for the Mac before Monday you get a free pair of earbuds for for your class to wear. They've got a cool Apple-esque promotional page with a neat little video, as well as some training videos for those new to the game.

As if that wasn't enough, the game is currently on sale at 50% off, so you can buy it for only USD$9.99. I read it as if you play on mac machine you get the ears buds, so ppl who already bought it just have to logon and play on mac?

I didn't think people bought macs to play games. I assumed you buy a mac because you DON'T want to play games.... but I guess valve is changing all that.

Also, Apple sucks. Before I owned an iPhone, I was indifferent. Then I bought an iPhone; Apple's now on my s*** list.

I was kind of hoping they might have another "Meet the class" movie. From what I read a while back the guy that did the voice over for the medic is not working for Valve anymore so the only class left to do is the Pyro.

I was kind of hoping they might have another "Meet the class" movie. From what I read a while back the guy that did the voice over for the medic is not working for Valve anymore so the only class left to do is the Pyro.

He never "work for Valve," he's a hired voice actor. He's the same guy that voiced Tenzin in Uncharted 2, Captain Slag in Ratchet and Clank, and f***loads of others. I see no reason why he wouldn't do more work for them.

They should give PC players a 2 button mouse they can equip. Zing.

I think I just got this for free (I haven't read any press release details yet). It's saying "Not Installed", I say "Install" but of course the server is too busy lol.

If anyones interested in getting the earbuds as an item to wear you can score them on the PC as well. You just need a Mac to log in with your account then it will give them to you. I had a mate log in with my account and it worked fine. That is if you can trust anyone with your password and account details.

I was having a b**** of a time getting portal to download, everything I did would result in the Server is too busy error.

Turns out I had frey's steam filter installed from a while back and totally forgot about it. OPS!

How odd, I just fired up my mac to try & play some TF2 and steam keeps crashing. It was working fine at 2am Friday morning when I was playing hl2, what gives :(

e: Got it to run, I like the latest interface, dunno what you guys are on about.
