Modern Warfare 2: Resurgence Map Pack Revealed

Activision and what's left of Infinity Ward are seriously sticking to their guns with Modern Warfare 2, today announcing the second map pack for the game - one whole map pack more than they ever released for CoD4. And again, it's Xbox Live exclusive for the time-being.

The second pack of new multiplayer maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, will hit first on Xbox LIVE online entertainment network worldwide on June 4th with the release of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Resurgence Pack. Featuring five maps, the Resurgence Pack follows on the heels of the record-setting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare� 2 Stimulus Package of maps.

Five maps... I wonder if they'll all be originals or if they'll include more from CoD4 as they did with the Stimulus Package Map Pack?

Realising people will buy anything with Call of Duty on it, it wouldn't surprise me if they just lock 5 maps from MW2 original and then unlock them for you once you purchase this pack.

Hope they charge a stupid amount for this so even the dumbest of people will realise that they just nearly spent enough money to nearly buy a whole game for 10 maps.

After finishing the single player campaign i ended up giving the game back to my mate. Didn't bother playing the multiplayer.

Am i missing out on much?

Just lie to me and say No.

I may eventually pick it up just for mulitplayer but it's still very highly priced for a not so new game.

Tried to like that game so I could stick it too MW2, but no, it sux. It's ok, been playing Arma of late, now that is a real game.

Yeah I liked the mp in mw2 but after playing bc2 I prefer that, more of a challenge with the bullet drop & no poofter chopper spawn rape.
