The official release date for Heroes of Newerth Retail is, May the 12th, 2010! Since this is a digital release we get it the same time as everyone else for a change...

The retail release of HoN is approaching. With that in mind, we will be opening up all NON PRE PURCHASED nicknames to anyone willing to purchase or who has already pre purchased the game.

You will simply visit a form, check the availability of a nickname, if the nickname is not taken or taken by a non pre purchased account, you will have the opportunity to KS it. That means if you are not pre purchased and want your nickname, I strongly suggest you buy HoN now to secure your it before this begins on:

Wednesday, May 5th @ 4:00pm EST (with retail following a week later Wed, May 12th @ 4:00pm EST)

You can also 'kill steal' nicknames off people who haven't pre-ordered.
