Win a $9000 Tattoo Courtesy of SEGA Australia and Yakuza 3

Ok, this is one seriously committed prize. By way of Zoo Weekly magazine, SEGA are running a competition promoting the recently released PlayStation 3 exclusive Yakuza 3 and the prize is a custom tattoo with a value of over $9000.

The ink-work will be a replica of Kazuma Kiryu�s dragon tattoo, the full-back piece worn by the game's player character and the competition is open to all Australians over 18 with the body-canvas to spare.

The promotion is only open for two more days (entries close at midnight on Saturday), so if you or someone you know would be interested in this one, you'd best get in quick. Full details and terms and conditions can be found over at Zooweekly.com.

For sure, I hope they keep us posted as to how it turns out. I imagine there will probably be a few winners to chicken out before someone mans up to accept the prize =D

I wonder what happens if someone gets the tattoo and goes to Japan and gets seen by real Yakuza. Would it be like the scene in Sons of Anarchy where that dude who was exiled is found to be still wearing the tattoo!@#?!@#?

Just had a glance at the T&Cs, I expected them to have a cop-out clause if people didn't want the tattoo but just wanted the moneyz, but doesn't look like there is one! You'd have to be pretty keen on ink to wanna win this one

24. The winner agrees unconditionally and irrevocably that SEGA Australia Pty Ltd (and its assigns and licensees) shall have the following rights and benefits, without payment to the winner:
(a) to photograph and record the winner by any and all means (including without limitation photographically and audio-visually) at the announcement of the prize winner, during the tattooing sessions and following completion of the tattoo and, without time limit, to use all photographs and recordings for any and all marketing and publicity purposes in any and all media for SEGA Australia Pty Ltd and its affiliates and related entities worldwide (�Publicity�); and

I picked the artist for SEGA :P, he's friends with the Japanese tattoo artist who did the actual piece for the game, the guy who's doing it has done all of my tattoos and is considered Australia's best tattoo artist and one of the world's leading Japanese tattoo specialists (Josh Roelink) - this tattoo is going to be amazing, trust me :)
