So long summer, hello Autumn and hello new game releases. This week sees a few new releases landing both store-wide and digitally, depending on your preference with one major console and PC release among some strong PC releases and a handful of handheld titles also.

The big one, of course, is Battlefield Bad Company 2 from EA and DICE; hitting both console and PC, Assassin's Creed II will also make it's PC debut this Thursday along with Silent Hunter 5 and Supreme Commander 2. The smaller titles mentioned are the DS's Combat of Giants: Mutant Insects and Sonic & SEGA All Star Racing as well as the PSP's Fat Princess.

All of these games are available from Thursday, March 4. If there's anything we've missed you know of, drop a line in the Comments.

********** bring us new “Silent Hunter 5 Battle of the Atlantic” game. Funny thing is that this game is based on newest Ubisoft DRM protection which requires you to be online during the gameplay. Poor legit users…

Well done Ubisoft. Your new, rage inducing protection method is already broken
