Ubisoft have released a new trailer for the upcoming Red Steel 2, their Wii-exclusive sword-waving gunslinging first person shooter.

Today's clip titled "Hero Bad Day" offers a look at an assortment of the various unpleasant situations you'll find yourself in over the course of the game. Watch it right here on AusGamers.

Red Steel 2 is due on March 25 2010 on Nintendo Wii.

Most if from the cinematics, but there's a bunch of in-engine stuff in there. Plenty of actual gameplay (6 minutes worth) in this older trailer though.

wow, that actually looks pretty good (especially for the wii, man my eyes are never gonna forgive me for that latest res evil on teh wii)

hope i can use my old skool controllers for this

It's hard to judge if the gameplay will be any good. We saw it in action at Tokyo Games Show but it was demo'd to us, no hands on.

I def agree that it looks good, it was a really smart design decision to go in that direction because the first Red Steel looked balls in comparison - more third party Wii games should use that approach. Style over realism.
