Now that 2010 is in full swing, so is AusGamers and with a few stellar games already under our belt (Darksiders, Bayonetta and the incredible Mass Effect 2), the rest of the year is shaping up very nicely with the likes of God of War 3, Mafia 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Red Dead Redemption and heaps more.

Also, stay tuned for AusGamers getting out and about and being in your face in 2010. Tomorrow night we'll be representing on the gaming panel on Byteside, so if you live in Sydney come and check it out and heckle me, otherwise we have big, big plans for 2010, so stay tuned.

Now, without further delay, let's get into the latest headlines.

In the Headlines
Apparently Just Cause 2 will feature a video-capture mode exclusively on the PS3, Blizzard released new updates for World of WarCraft, Lost Planet 2 and Super Street Fighter IV received official Australian release dates (on Australia Day, no less), Square Enix revealed their Collector's Edition bundle for Final Fantasy XIII, a release date was revealed for Supreme Commander 2 (along with a handful of new screens), Apple unveiled the iPad to mixed reviews, EA and DICE released the official Battlefield Bad Company 2 beta, Ubisoft revealed how they're going to attempt to get around piracy, Team Fortress 2 updated, Tecmo defied all good sense to release this, Gears of War's Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago joined Lost Planet 2, Metro 2033 was handed a release date and it was revealed BioShock 2 won't use dedicated servers or support LAN multiplayer.

Videos We RecommendFinally, on the editorial front, we took a preview look at BioShock 2, went hands-on with Super Street Fighter IV, revealed the sad state of music licensing affairs in Australia (for something different) and reviewed the incredible Mass Effect 2.

That's it from us for another catch-up, stay tuned throughout the week for the news that will fill this post next Monday :P
