Valve have rolled out a new update for Team Fortress 2 with a huge stack of changes, including a few balance changes:
    Reduced the health penalty on The Sandman
  • The Force-A-Nature knockback on target now
    • Only applies to hits that deal more than 30 damage and are in close range
    • Factors in the firer's angle of attack when determining the knockback direction
    • Has less of an effect on grounded targets
  • The Dead Ringer now
    • Reduces cloak to 40% when uncloaking early
    • Has a 35% cap on the amount of cloak it can gain from an ammo pack
    • Has a quieter de-cloak sound
They've also added a new client-side server blacklist, which I assume helps you filter out servers you never want to see in your server list - showing once again Valve really get this online multiplayer thing. As always, update through Steam and jump online to play.

Wow, lets nerf the lowest played class :S fail Valve.

They need to fix the buff banner, requires far too much damage, you have to play like a pussy to generate enough rage to get use out of it.

I dont know if this is a bug but when playing CTF with soldier it resets your bugle every time you go to the medical cabinet. Its f*****g annoying because you have to rely on medics or health packs all the time.

*Soldier Rage bar no longer resets when touching a resupply cabinet*

Added "Play a hit sound whenever you injure an enemy" option to the Multiplayer->Advanced options menu


Woohoo! I was sad face when I got my pyro flare gun achievement because it meant that the 'DING' of satisfaction you get from hitting someone across the map was gone.

The achievement was set 1000 enemies on fire with it or something.
