EA's "new game announcement" hinted at months ago has turned out to be a redelivery of the arcade classic, NBA Jam, which ignited TimeZone's across the country in the 90s (during the basketball explosion, arguably thanks to Jordon, Johnson and Barkley), offering the first over-the-top basketball experience since Arch Rivals.
While EA have yet to 'officially' reveal the game, ESPN
confirmed it among many other sites close enough to the prize to be trusted. But before you get all hot and sweaty under the collar, know that it will be a Wii exclusive, which could make or break it - here's hoping it's a timed release and we see HD PSN and XBLA releases down the track.
