An arcade enthusiast in Westport, Connecticut has put the fictional high score for the arcade classic, Frogger, set by Seinfeld's George Costanza, to bed and in the process put himself forward as the new high-score holder against both fictional characters in pop culture and real-life humans alike.
"Even though it was imagined by television writers, Pat has broken one of the most famous scores in pop culture," a Twin Galaxies representative said in a statement. "Pat's amazing score will now forever be attached to not only Twin Galaxies history, but pop culture trivia as well."
Pat Laffaye's score finished at 896,980 and was charted by Twin Galaxies Arcade, Costanza's score was 860,630, though I'm sure Pat didn't have to live the real-life Frogger experience as George did in that famous episode. According to reports, Laffaye also holds a record for another arcade classic title, Paperboy.

As long as this frogger record breaker is not like Billy Mitchell he is fine in my book!
