To help promote awareness of their superhero MMO, Atari and Cryptic are offering up a free play weekend for Champions Online. Just download the client and you can get in on the action, free, for the whole weekend (November 26 - November 30).

Having dabbled with the game, I can tell you, you might end up using the whole weekend just creating a character (the game's strongest point), otherwise prepare to enter instances where you fight off invading aliens, help out lazy cops and generally just run around showing off your powers and costume.

Click here for our locally hosted Champions Online client.
