Activision and Treyarch have released another patch update for Call of Duty: World at War, addressing a few lingering issues with their WWII-themed FPS. Here's the changelog:
-Fixed an MP server crash exploit.
-Fixed a voice chat crash on systems with no default recording device selected.
-Fixed an issue causing erroneous duplicate qport errors.
-Server admins can disable team switching by setting g_allow_teamchange to 0. Players will be restricted to Auto-Assign in team-based gametypes.
No new maps this time, but this incremental patch is only 16MB.
Download the v1.6 to v1.7 here
locally from AusGamers (16MB).
As it is an incremental update only, it does require that you have
v1.6 (1.2GB) already installed, which in turn requires
v1.5 (1GB), which requires
v1.4 (590MB). So if you're patching from a fresh install, best get downloading!
