The Wii exclusive Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers has been dated in Australia and New Zealand, with Square-Enix revealing the game will be available from February 4, 2010.

The game joins a massive list of high-profile releases also occupying the usually dead period of Q1; a trend the industry seems happy to adopt, though whether the period proves sustainable enough remains to be seen.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles started its series life on the GameCube as Square's first dance back with Nintendo since the SNES era. For more, click here.
