According to the Hollywood Reporter, Hans Zimmer has been confirmed to be writing his first videogame score to one of this year's biggest and most anticipated releases, Modern Warfare 2.

Zimmer, an Academy Award winner, is probably best known for recently scoring The Dark Knight and Pirates of the Caribbean. He's also slated to be working on Christopher Nolan's newest project, Inception.

Modern Warfare 2 is slated to release worldwide November 10, across all major gaming platforms.

Hahahahaha

This is worse than a conference about an upcoming conference where they will announce something BIG!

How is writing about a well-known movie scorer, scoring Modern Warfare 2, the same as a conference to announce another conference to announce something?

This information pleases me. Epic music makes for epic gaming.

Haha I'm sorry. I thought Hans Zimmer is going to write a review about this game. Not write music for it.

"You're breaking my balls, Hans Zimmer."

Whoops, wrong Hans.

Agree with ViscoS. Awesome music is an essential element for a top-notch game.
