EA have crafted a division within their walls that sees both BioWare and Mythic combining to head up a key RPG/MMO studio, which will be headed up by BioWare co-founder, Ray Muzyka. Greg Zeshuck, the other half of the co-founding BioWare team will step up as group creative officer.

In the wake of this massive change though, it appears Mythic co-founder Mark Jacobs will be leaving the company. It's not known if this was a reaction on his behalf, or if EA gave him marching orders.

What this means for the studios moving forward still isn't known, but it's mighty interesting news,
nonetheless.

I don't know why I was expecting a rocket propelled grenade giant team... that would be awesome though.

Aren't bioware still doing that starwars MMO?
