A cinematic trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic has been released, which you can now download right here from AusGamers. It is, by all reports, definitely worth a look:
In Star Wars: The Old Republic, players will explore an age thousands of years before the rise of Darth Vader when war between the Old Republic and the Sith Empire divides the galaxy. Players can choose to play as Jedi, Sith, or a variety of other classic Star Wars roles, defining their personal story and determining their path down the light or dark side of the Force. Along the way, players will befriend courageous companions who will fight at their side or possibly betray them, based on the players’ actions. Players can also choose to team up with friends to battle enemies and overcome incredible challenges using dynamic Star Wars combat.

Since it is an MMO, it would be shameful to my family if I was 'in the know' about something like that.

the trailer looks cool but i'm still not down with pay per play mmos :( i just don't play often enough to justify having mmo accounts. if only it was co-op vs the computer on lan... that's what i want! :/

Yeah i dont get the force unleashed hate. Granted i rented the game but still, i thought it was pretty damn fun.

nah, saw trailers for force unleashed, looked amazing. bought GratuitouslyProvocative a wii for xmas, got unleashed on boxing day. not impressed.
pro: picking up people and Throwing them at each other/off buildings. gets old quickly.
con: atrocious camera control, repetitive action, irritating bosses, poor ambiance.

dled trailer, but my computer hates HD :'(

Stog from ETQW meets star wars !?

Nice cinematic, but I'd like to see game play.

Thw cinematic was about 10 seconds out of sync on Ausgamers but ran fine off Gamearena. Not sure if there is a prob or not.
