WB have shot out a hot wad of screenshots and a trailer for the recently announced Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest, a new property in the everlasting gobstopper that is the LOTR franchise:
Players assume the role of Aragorn to take on his greatest quests from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Wielding a sword, shield, bow and spear, fans will battle enemies, lead armies and journey through a colourful and fresh rendition of Middle-earth. Players can even switch between spear and sword on horseback; taking down evil foes in a truly action-packed gameplay experience. Two-player co-op gameplay featuring Gandalf allows kids, families and friends to work together in the heart of the action.
Have a glance at the visuals and check out the details of this upcoming game (for the Wii and PS2, as well as PSP and DS) on our game page. The launch trailer is also available.

As it is primarily coming out on lower-end hardware it's drawn a few negative comments about its look; here's Penny Arcade's take.
