I'm always skeptical of the class updates being that TF2 is extremely balanced already but Valve always seem to impress me.
Both new unlocks sound awesome so far :D
This energy drink could be sweet, something that springs to mind is that scouts can sometimes escape the tracking of sentries already, an extra burst of speed could allow scouts to slip past the guns with ease.
You guys think the drink is going to replace the pistol? If so, I predict 110% of people have the drink in the loadout.
Pistol is the worst weapon ever created.

Mid-long range its very effective on the engy and scout. I get tons of kills with it when I play those classes.
The spy's pistol is also another very underrated weapon thats way more powerful than most think.

Map offers interesting possibilities cause it *could* support 3 modes of play
1) 2 spawns next to each other, carts racing up the slope, only really usefull for f***around play
2) cart starts at your spawn and you have to push it up to near the enemy spawn (starts off fast but becomes a grind near the end)
3) cart starts at the enemy spawn and you have to go in and push it out (grind at the start and gets easier as you get further from their spawn)

Sounds like some kinda of super recoil scattergun thats going to allow you to jump higher than a double jump with it... presumably it will stop you in your tracks and push you back when firing it normally.

Give the spy a chance, people already look behind far too much.
It's already done (with pyro), BORING and it would be way overpowered, scouts are already raping people from behind, especially snipers.

I play with a mate alternating medic a lot and its complete rape on the cart maps, uber through and get behind the cart being pushed by a bunch of people and you'll kill most of them.
Not unusual to get 10+ kills in 1 run.

I barely play tf2 more than 30mins-1hr a week now, I dont want to spend it going out of my way for achiements.

I get all 3 unlocks from a few hours of play... yes I still have achievements I haven't finished, but they're not needed to get the unlocks.

Updates to Team Fortress 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:
New features
Added The Force-A-Nature, The Sandman, and Bonk!
Added 35 new Scout achievements
Added crit boosted on/off sound effects
Added new sounds for upgraded teleporters
Added new sound for a fully charged medic dying
Add bonus points section to scores
Scouts earn a bonus point for killing Medics who are actively healing a target
