Valve have announced that they've plugged a hole in the Xbox 360 version of their popular zombie shooter Left 4 Dead:
Valve has released a server-side fix to deny the recently reported cheats on all dedicated Left 4 Dead Xbox 360 servers. The fix is designed to halt the cheating behavior on the dedicated servers, which accounts for the majority of the co-op and Versus modes of play. A title update for those playing on user-hosted servers and/or via system link will be released in the coming days.
Anyone playing the Xbox 360 version able to comment on how much of a big deal this has been for them?

I wonder if they turned down the difficulty for the console version.

L4D gets ridiculously hard, stuff that on a controller.

Plenty of PC players, fail console version.

I reckon ey. Imagine having to melee a zombie off your back when it takes 30 seconds to do a 180 turn.

edit: heh consoles... I read over at shacknews that one of the reasons valve aren't releasing tf2 content updates is because microsoft want them to make it a paid DLC because of the download.
