We couldn't let this one go unnoticed. As the release of Call of Duty: World At War edges ever closer, Infinity Ward Community Manager, Robert Bowling, has increasingly become edgier and edgier about some miscommunications that tend to see the IW developed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare mixed in with Activision and Treyarchs WWII update to the franchise.
Kotaku have the
full run-down on just what has Bowling so upset, but it really is awesome to see people from development studios utterly unconcerned about what they say in regards to people employed at their publishing houses.
From Kotaku:And what set off Bowling was when Heller, in an interview with CVG, said bolt-action rifles in Modern Warfare were not one-shot kill weapons, as they are in World at War...
"WTF are you talking about?! "in previous Call of Dutys blah blah blah". First of all, you didn't work on "previous Call of Dutys", so don't talk as if you're down with how / why things were designed the way they were. Second, you're completely fucking wrong.
Bolt Action rifles are one hit kills in every Call of Duty we (Infinity Ward) made!!"
Awesome. Hit up the supplied link above for the full explosion from Bowling.

Well Iw as in the NAVY, I ended up getting my marksmanship on small arms/semi Auto's and I can guarantee that bolt action rifles ARE a one shot Kill regardless. If you know how to shoot and have good aim one shot WILL Kill ....
I hope they make it that way or the game will not even be close to fun for me I love rifles and love shooting with the M1 Grand
