Microsoft have today lowered the price of the Xbox 360 in Australia in the lead up to the all-important Christmas Holiday sales period. You can now pick up the Xbox 360 Arcade Package for a RRP of $299, making it the cheapest home console on the market.
The standard Xbox 360 package (with a 60GB HDD, LIVE-ready) will sell for a RRP of $399 (a savings of $100 off the previous RRP), while the Xbox 360 Elite has also had $100 knocked off its RRP, coming in at the new holiday price of $549.
Pretty big price-drops, especially ahead of the new free dashboard update New Xbox Experience
that is set to change the entire interface and community aspect of the Xbox 360.
If you didn't own one before, it could be time to finally cave in.
