LucasArts' new IP that utilises all-new terrain deformation technology (at least, "all-new" to LucasArts, we all remember the terrible original Red Faction), Fracture, has been spinning in the AusGamers review console for a little while and we've walked away with a pretty clear idea of what this game is about.

IP means "Intellectual Property". Basically in the context of the review, making new IP means making entire new brands/games instead of just picking the last big game you made and putting a bigger number at the end of it. It's a rare thing these days!

Its rare for good reason. Making sequels to established brands guarantees a certain return.

Red faction 1 was awesome... me and my mates spent many an hour with the old rail gun.
