At the recent Games Conference in Leipzig, Germany, AusGamers had a chance to check in on EA's The Sims 3 - the next addition to what has become (loathe to many hardcore gamers) The best selling franchise in video gaming.
Games like this almost need a whole new rating system - something like ďRĒ for ďRidiculously Addictive. While itís not a classic hardcore gamer game, thereís almost no doubt that if you give it a try, youíll come to a few hours later wondering where the hell your afternoon went.
We're not sure if that's good thing or not, but you can find out all the finer points in AusGamers in-depth preview.

The Sims 3 is due on PC in February 2009. For more particulars stop by our The Sims 3 game page and in particular, check out this behind the scenes trailer for some more good insight into the game.
