Rockstar never really have it easy, and earlier last year the controversy that just can't seem to leave them alone arose once again in the face of their attempted release of Manhunt 2 for Wii and PS2 in the UK. The BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) refused to rate the game citing its "unremitting bleakness and callousness of tone" as one of the key reasons it would be denied a rating.
When you've poured some serious blood, sweat and tears into your artform, however, you don't just roll over and die. And so Rockstar took the matter to the courts and despite a lengthy battle, won the right to release the game over the last few days with a majority rules vote (are we paying attention Australian Government?).

GamaSutra.Where this leaves this game in terms of an Aussie release remains to be seen, but you can bet we're one step closer to at
least trying, right Rockstar?
