MacWorld 2008, Apple's annual demonstration of new and upcoming products, is upon us, and the fallout is beginning to settle. One of the big new toys is the MacBook Air, an ultra-thin (and ultra-expensive, compared to other MacBooks) laptop. There's some updates for the iPhone and iPod Touch - existing iPod Touch owners have to pay US$20 to get access to them though.

The other big story is the announcement of iTunes Movie Rentals, with a lot of the major movie houses. Of course, it is US only (for now) - the pricing scheme is (USD) $2.99 for "library titles", $3.99 for new releases - tack on an extra dollar if you want to watch the HD versions.
