MacWorld 2008, Apple's annual demonstration of new and upcoming products, is upon us, and the fallout is beginning to settle. One of the big new toys is the MacBook Air
, an ultra-thin (and ultra-expensive, compared to other MacBooks) laptop. There's some updates for the iPhone
and iPod Touch
- existing iPod Touch owners have to pay US$20 to get access to them though.
The other big story is the announcement of iTunes Movie Rentals
, with a lot of the major movie houses. Of course, it is US only (for now) - the pricing scheme is (USD) $2.99 for "library titles", $3.99 for new releases - tack on an extra dollar if you want to watch the HD versions.
