Xbox, Wii Dominate Search for 2007

The latest Google Zeitgeist is now online, showing some of the interesting search trends from 2007. Of particular note is their 'All the Rage' category, which shows Wii and Xbox searches dominating PlayStation 3 (though it's not clear if the Xbox category might includes both Xbox and Xbox 360). There's an very clear upward spike for the Nintendo Wii as we approach Christmas as well.

On a related note it appears HD-DVD is winning the format war - in the search arena, at least.

From what I read, Blu-ray is the better format. I really don't care which format wins aslong as one of them clearly loses and stops receiving exclusive content. With the market divided it's going to be a real pain in the ass for any serious HD fan until Blu-Ray/Hd Dvd combined players start becoming readily available.
