A demo of Medieval 2: Total War has snuck out, which you can grab locally from AusGamers. The demo includes 2 single player historical Battles and a tutorial (thanks Rips#).

Awesome! I just downloaded this demo, then after installation, I find out a CPU with SSE2 support is required. My AhtlonXP 3100+ only has SSE :(

It'd be nice if Ausgamers posted the system requirements for this demo in it's description, like they usually do for most demos.

Er... dRanged, the requirements there don't mention SSE2.

trog, what about the readme in the installation ;)

Hi Guys,

It's a known problem that the current demo is not SSE compat (its an older build). However, the final game is and there may be a new demo release with SSE2 support in the near future.
