One of the Ubisoft staff involved in Heroes of Might and Magic 5 has posted on the official forums stating that this upcoming title won't have Starforce copy protection. Could this be the beginning of the end of Ubi's run with the infamous copy protection software?!

Worth posting by any means, starforce is hell! and grinds my DVD/drives.

Removal tool doesnt work, had to manually remove the drivers that were hidden.
