Blizzard have released a new World of Warcraft cinematic movie. In an interesting move, they've released the file wrapped in a stand-alone BitTorrent client:

Like the recent Gryphon Movie, this movie is being released to test Blizzard's new large-file-distribution system, which we might use in the future for distributing very large files. We could use your assistance in testing this system. Please read our new Download F.A.Q., and if you have any concerns or questions, please post them in this forum thread.

The download clients are available for both Windows and Macintosh. If BitTorrent isn't your thing, you can grab the full movie directly from GameArena.

If you're referring to me, I never said the movie would be the same as the game, I said it was of good quality.
I am hoping blizzard have polished the game in so much that the game product quality is of the same level as the cinematic.

i didnt realise that negative posts were banned.
it's just that all mmorpgs are the same, i have played my fair share and they always boil down to clicking for exp and items.
i've also seen a great deal of good mmorpg cinematics that are great, and i'm not denying that the WoW cinematic might be great too, but there's no real point getting super worked up about it.

I haven't been bothered viewing that movie, I've seen the quality of Blizzard's cinematics in previous games, I know how awesome they can be, I just want the freaking game already! :)

Yeah I agree with Einstein. The graphics in the alpha are not particularly staggering, I'm mean it is an alpha but you would want the texture quality to be upped if it is going to complete graphically with a game such as say Everquest II. And if someone gives me some s*** about gameplay, there basically isn't any implemented in the alpha so i cant comment on it.

Theres plenty of gameplay implemented in the alpha, in fact, the entire game is implemented. Unless of course you mean you warezd the alpha and you've been playing on the stupid sandbox server that someone coded, but nah, you wouldn't be saying that would you.

Also, as far as the graphics go, I way prefer the graphics in WoW to EQ2. I'm so over Everquest throwing progressively higher and higher resolution textures at things and calling it "better graphics", I way prefer the whole cartoony look of WoW, its something different for a change.

I think the graphics are way better than anything else I have seen, and yes, not just the graphics, but the artwork itself. The kegs in the bars, the tables, its very nice. Any comparison to EQ2 seems unreasonable anyway considering WC3 is so further in development?

And there is no f*****g way, you are commenting on the sandbox alpha gameplay man, theres just no f*****g way your doing that. No, I will give society a little more credit and assume you are in the alpha and and are breaking the non-disclosure agreement, and you character is locked in a cupboard and you can't get out.
