It wasn't that long ago that we reported that the System Shock remake from developer Nightdive Studios was being put on hold. A situation that arose once after the studio realised that the scope of the project grew considerably from a remake to become more of a reinterpretation of the original game. In a new Kickstarter update, Nightdive Studios CEO Stephen Kick confirms that the remake is back on track.
With announcement made at PAX by none other than PUBG creator Brendan Greene and electronic music artist Deadmau5 - who wore a custom Xbox version of his now trademark mouse helmet thing. Hopefully soon. But, I'm starting to get the impression that the launch version of Sea of Thieves experience was meant to be the full experience for several months - if not the first year. That being said, so far Rare's communication with Sea of Thieves players has been exceptional. Responding to issues and fixing them in a timely manner. But, there's one subject where they've been strangely quiet.
