The acronym "DLC" is spouted in spades these days, and while it's an apt one at that, there's something markedly different between bite-sized chunks of content, and actual game expansions.

This is an area the PC has always excelled at, and while there are certain games on PC doing the DLC rounds these days too, there are also PC mainstay titles and developers who like to keep things old-school and well-delivered.

Enter the second expansion for Total War: Shogun 2, Fall of the Samurai, that does not require the base game to play, yet adds infinitely to the experience if you own the first game outright.
