Microsoft have sent through a reminder they've teamed up with Ubisoft to offer punters an all-encompassing 360 bundle featuring the game (which is exclusive), an Elite console, 250GB HDD, two black controllers, a headset and a bonus copy of Splitner Cell Double Agent.

The bundle will retail exclusively at EB Games for a SRP of $499, and will be made available from April 15. There's currently a demo for the game up on Xbox Live also, and you can check out a host of info and media directly from our game page by clicking here.

Also, in anticipation for the April 15 release of the game, Ubisoft have sent through the game's official launch trailer, which can be viewed in the embed below.

Perhaps it's because they're too busy releasing trailer after trailer for their games, but publishers nowadays don't seem to crow about their games "going gold" as they used to.

Contrary to that trend, Ubisoft have today let us know that the hotly anticipated Splinter Cell Conviction has completed development and is off on its journey to mass-production.

Interestingly, the announcement is only for the Xbox 360 version of the game and makes several references to the game's "Xbox Exclusive" status, even though the release date for the PC version of the game is the same. I suppose it only matters that it's "not on PlayStation 3" - or perhaps its a veiled reference to the fact that nobody is going to be able to play it on PC with Ubi's failing always-on DRM system (Oh Snap!).

Splinter Cell Conviction is on track to hit Xbox 360 and PC on April 15th 2010.

Ubisoft have sent along a new trailer for Splinter Cell Conviction, the hotly anticipated sequel set to once again put players back in the shoes of super-spy Sam Fisher.

Today's video focuses on the game's singleplayer storyline, but refreshingly unlike many games that show this off through pre-rendered cut-scenes, everything here is in-engine and mostly of scenes where the player is still in direct control of Sam. Watch it right here on AusGamers.

Splinter Cell Conviction is due on PC and Xbox 360 simultaneously on April 14th 2010. Unfortunately however, it's looking like -- along with Assassin's Creed 2 and Settlers 7 -- that Splinter Cell Conviction will be one of Ubisoft's first titles to enforce their unpopular mandatory Internet connectivity copy protection scheme.

Hopefully the recent reveal of splitscreen cooperative play didn't get you too excited, because Ubisoft have now admitted that the long awaited Splinter Cell: Conviction won't be meeting it's previously announced February release date, instead being pushed back until April.

As the game was originally due to be in our hands back in 2007, this latest slip doesn't seem like a huge setback. Let's just hope it doesn't blow out any further.

Ubisoft have sent along two new screenshots from the hotly anticipated Splinter Cell: Conviction, revealing another new tasty feature - Splitscreen cooperative play.

Although the last couple of Splinter Cell games have featured a cooperative element, both were limited to network play only so splitscreen will no-doubt be a welcome addition to many armchair Third Echelon agents around the globe.

Splinter Cell: Conviction is due on Xbox 360 and PC on February 25 2010. Hit the thumbs below for the goodness.

It was revealed there would be co-op for Splinter Cell: Conviction, but we had no idea it would look this good (the verdict is still out on playing, but from what's being shown here, this looks like the shit!).

Taking control of a Third Echelon agent, and a Russian agent, players will work together to face off against terrorist threats in what looks to be more than just a tacked on gameplay mode; clearly looked after and fleshed out in a way only Ubisoft could do.
