The rumour mill is churning thanks to a recent piece from Bloomberg that suggests a new Rock Band could be making its way to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, though you may want to take this with a huge grain of salt.

According to an anonymous source "familiar with the plan", developer Harmonix are currently working on the new-gen version. Of course this isn't a large surprise thanks to a number of recent hints from the developer.

Back in January new DLC for the past-gen Rock Band 3 began releasing, almost two years after it was retired. A few recent polls have also made their way to the public, gauging interest on a revitalised Rock Band plus asking rather specific questions like "do you want to use your old instruments."
