Marvel Vs Capcom 3 has been breaking writs and thumbs for a little while now, and Capcom have been rather quiet on the expansion plans for it, having only released two extra characters and a host of costumes.

That all ends at this year's Comic-Con though, where the developer has promised to reveal their future plans for the game at a panel where we'll likely be privy to a lot more in the way of additions (looking at the love Street Fighter IV has had since release).

"Come to this panel to hear the fantastic news about this legendary fighting game franchise straight from producer Ryota Niitsuma," reports GameSpot from Comic-Con sources.

With more than 30 characters already filling out the current roster, who would you like to see come in, and what other additions do you think the title needs?

After months of trickling out character after character, Capcom have now sent along a "final roster" trailer, showcasing all fighters on offer from both the Marvel and Capcom camps.
Popular returning characters include Spider-Man, Ryu, Wolverine, Morrigan, Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Felicia, Chun-Li, Tron Bonne, Magneto, Storm, Akuma and Doctor Doom. Crimson Viper, Viewtiful Joe and Zero will make their debut in the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise. New characters joining the playable cast for the first time in fighting game history include Taskmaster, Haggar, She-Hulk, Chris Redfield, Thor, Trish, Super-Skrull, Amaterasu, Dormammu, Wesker, X-23, Arthur, Deadpool, Nathan Spencer, M.O.D.O.K. and Dante!
Additionally, Capcom have also released "Episode 4" of their cinematic trailer series, which chronicles another snippet of the games storyline (if you can call it that) in a CG cut-scene that involves the most recently announced characters.

Watch Episode 4 here on AusGamers and for those that missed them, here's Episode 1, Episode 2 and Episode 3.

Check out the "Final Roster" trailer embedded below or click here for the HD option.

Capcom have revealed two new characters for their forthcoming fighter, Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds.

Fan-favourite (in the West, anyway), Mike Haggar joins the Capcom ranks from the mean streets of Metro City, while on the Marvel side, we have a being who is potentially the most dangerous the universe has ever know, Phoenix (replete with Dark Phoenix transformation).

The two spark the beginning of the 2011 roll-out of character reveals and are probably the more exciting since the game's early-day announcements. We have trailers for both:We have a slew of trailers and screens for this game already, and stay tuned for a lengthy hands-on report shortly.

Let's face it. No matter what they come up with, Capcom and Marvel's 'story' for the forthcoming Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, is going to be wafer thin at best. There's no contextual reason for any of these characters to mingle, but hey, when you have Arthur from Ghouls n Ghosts going up against the Incredible Hulk, story is the last thing you need to worry about.

Still, it isn't stopping the powers that be from adding a narrative to their hotly anticipated fighter, and today we have a new trailer showing off some of this 'story', which while very confusing, shows off the game's uber-cool art-style.

Watch it embedded below, or click here (recommended) to stream or download it in HD.

Capcom have ramped up their Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds info, with the game now due to land on store shelves, worldwide, February 18th, 2011.

On top of the most recent reveals of She-Hulk and Zero from Capcom, they've also finally lifted the lid on the game's cover art, which has been done by Adi Granov, who was responsible for the design of Iron Man in the most recent movies. Check it out directly here.

Two more characters have also been dropped (though we have no new media for them) in form of Jill Valentine, who reprises her role having appeared in the series in the past, as well "everyone’s favourite one-eyed demon Shuma-Gorath".

We have a host of new screens right here, and for the latest She-Hulk and Zero reveal trailers, hit the following links:

Capcom and Marvel have announced an art competition surrounding their forthcoming fighter, Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, and are offering budding young artists an awesome pack of prizes, as well as a chance to be published in an official art book, alongside other well-known Marvel and Capcom artists.
The winning entries will receive a console, copy of the game and their art work printed and framed. They will also have a chance (pending Marvel and Capcom approval) of having their art featured in an official art book alongside other Marvel artists, ensuring fortune and glory.

Presumably approval will be denied to anyone that depicts either Capcom or Marvel characters inappropriately, so whatever you do, don't do that. No really, please, don't create anything inappropriate and then post it on our forums. That would be terrible.
You can find out more about the competition by clicking here.

Capcom keep the love coming today with two new gameplay videos of the new characters that they revealed during a panel at the 2010 Tokyo Games Show: Marvel's Spider-Man and Capcom's Wesker.

Spider-Man should need no introduction, but for folk not familiar with Wesker, he's the trenchcoat-clad Matrix wannabe from Capcom's Resident Evil franchise. Also for those that missed it last week, Capcom also formally announced Tron Bonne of Megaman fame, accompanied by Marvel's X-23 who is basically a female counterpart to Wolverine from the X-Men franchise.Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is currently due on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 sometime in the first half of 2011.

These guys were already kind of subtly revealed earlier last week, but over the weekend Comic-Con ensured more surprises for fighting game fans, with two trailers showing of both Thor and Okami's Ameratsu as playable characters for the highly anticipated third installment in the Marvel Vs Capcom series.

Thor was a bit of a no-brainer given the upcoming movie, but Ameratsu was a pleasant surprise, and her new video showcases some seriously awesome fighting skills. Comic-Con was also host to four other characters being unveiled, Super-Skrull, Dr. Doom, Chun-Li and Devil May Cry's Trish.

Watch the Ameratsu trailer below, and click here for Thor.

Capcom have unleashed the first round of in-game screens for Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, the latest installment in their popular Vs series, which AusGamers caught at Captivate a few weeks back (check out our coverage right here).

The screens are revealing for the pure frenetic nature of what's eventually going to be at hand - it looks tops, and the art-style sits somewhere between Streeties IV and previous MvC titles, which is a good thing. Of course we'll get a better look at the game in just over two weeks at E3, but until then, click the images below to see what's in store.
