Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has unveiled two new behind-the-scenes videos for upcoming Batman-themed LEGO title Beyond Gotham, offering a glimpse into the crazy DC Comic world.

The first video takes a look at how the developers at TT Games bring more than 150 DC Comics characters to life in an in-depth behind-the-scenes character video, a very large feat for any developer big or small. Not to be outdone, the second video offers a sneak peek at the creation of the title’s gameplay mechanics, right down to Batman's set abilities.

In LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, the Caped Crusader joins forces with the super heroes of the DC Comics universe and blasts off to outer space to stop the evil Brainiac from destroying Earth. Using the power of the Lantern Rings, Brainiac shrinks worlds to add to his twisted collection of miniature cities from across the universe. Now the greatest super heroes and the most cunning villains must unite and journey to different Lantern Worlds to collect the Lantern Rings and stop Brainiac before it’s too late.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will be available November 26th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PS Vita, Wii U, 3DS and PC.

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, the next installment in the Lego Batman video game series, is getting a handful of additional playable heroes including Conan O'Brien, developers announced during a panel at New York Comic Con today.

During the panel, director Arthur Parsons announced Darkest Knight, Solar Suit Superman, Man Bat and Condiment King (from the animated DC series) would be playable in the game. Also joining the cast is Green Loontern, or Duck Dodgers, an alternate identity for popular cartoon character Daffy Duck.

Finally, Parsons announced TV host and comedian Conan O'Brien would also be a playable character and game announcer.

"He's the guy that's helping you know what's way and introducing the various aspects of the world," Parsons said. "The [voice-over] sessions were interesting."

Warner Bros. and developer Traveler's Tales also recently revealed Detective Chimp, Mad Hatter, Deadshot, Deathstroke, Kaliban, Polka Dot Man and Music Meister as playable characters. You can imagine this game's roster will be quite expansive before it even launches.

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will launch on November 11th for Windows, Mac, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The Warner Bros. news continues today, with the publisher announcing that those picking up LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham come November will have three pieces of DLC to choose from on launch, each part of a season pass for the game. This marks the first time a LEGO game has had a season pass, so lets see what is up for offer!

The season pass will be costed at a price of $21.55 AUD ($4.35 AUD separately), and we can expect six add-ons in total, three of which will be announced at a later date. It will be available to PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC owners, but not Wii U, 3DS and Vita.

The DLC packs set to arrive alongside the game are The Dark Knight Pack, the Man of Steel Pack and the Batman 75th Pack, each with themed missions with story elements and free play modes. The latter has players following the exploits of the Joker and Harley Quinn as they set up "a variety of celebration set pieces," then play as the varying Batmans (Batmen?) through the hero's many years of existence. Future packs will include new playable characters, vehicles and levels.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will be arriving on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, 3DS/2DS, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PlayStation Vita come November 11th. So literally everything. Phew.

Warner Bros. has announced a November 14th release date for their Bat-infused LEGO title Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.

Lego's third DC Comics-themed release, Lego Batman 3 is developed by long-standing Lego video game maker Traveller's Tales. More than 150 playable characters will be featured, from Adam West to Zatanna. As you might expect from its name, Beyond Gotham moves the action further afield from Batman's usual stomping grounds and out into space, into planets and cities that Brainiac has captured and shrunk down in size.

The bat game will also be featuring the one and only Adam West, who will be taking up his role as the 1960's Batman TV show man himself.

The game will launch for 3DS, PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Warner Bros. and popular LEGO developer TT Games have today announced the newest LEGO game in the Batman series, Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.
If that doesn't sound like enough fan service for DC Comic fans, LEGO Batman 3 will also feature more than 150 unique characters from the comic universe, including members of the Justice League and LEGO big figures such as Killer Croc, Solomon Grundy and many more.

“Building on the incredibly successful LEGO Batman franchise, we are working to make LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham the ultimate super hero videogame this year for all ages,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games. “The TT Games team is bringing LEGO Batman and an astounding amount of characters from the DC Comics universe to the next frontier with a new epic story, more gadgets and unexpected challenges.”

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham launches later this year for PC, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and 2DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Check out the reveal trailer below to see Batman kicking space villain butt the old fashion way.
