Sega has announced that those looking to run rampant in Tokyo won't have to wait long, as the Jet Set Radio HD remake will be making its way to PlayStation Vita, iOS and Android later this month.
Jet Set Radio is a high definition remastering of the Dreamcast classic that stays faithful to the iconic gameplay and art style that captured the hearts of a gaming generation. Taking control of a cast of memorable characters, players lead the “GG’s” graffiti gang on a mission to recover their territory from rivals – a task that is disrupted by the arrival of a nefarious organization named the Rokkakku Group. Can Beat, Gum, Mew and co. defeat corporation leader Rokkakku Goji and unravel his evil plans before Tokyo-to is lost forever?
For those interested in the PlayStation Vita version of the game will find a digital copy gracing their system on November 20th, with a iOS and Android copy coming to their respective stores on November 29th. No pricing has been revealed yet but presumably it will be under the $15 mark.

The upcoming revamp of SEGA's classic skate-based graffiti, Jet Set Radio, has today been given a affordable price and of course a release date.
Jet Set Radio is an updated version of the celebrated SEGA Dreamcast original, featuring upgraded HD visuals paired with the original funky soundtrack that rocked the ears of gamers worldwide in 2000. The PlayStation Vita’s unique features provide new ways for gamers to interact with the environments of Tokyo-to, from touch functionality that makes spraying graffiti more natural to Vita camera integration. Jet Set Radio for PlayStation Vita is a handheld version that loses nothing in the way of content or experience in comparison with its console and PC brethren.
The pricing scheme is quite affordable for those looking for some funky beats, with the Steam version for PC and Xbox Live running at $9.99 and 800 Microsoft Points. Those on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita will be able to grab the game for $9.99 for either system.

Release dates have also been announced for the revamped title, with PC and Xbox Live players able to grab the game on September 19th. PlayStation Plus users will be able to get one week early access to Jet Set Radio on September 11th with non-Plus users able to purchase the game on September 18th. PlayStation Vita gamers will be able to grab the game on October 16th.

We knew SEGA had plans to revive their inline skate-based graffiti classic, Jet Set Radio, for the current generation of consoles, but today they've announced it will also be making its way to Sony's latest handheld, PlayStation Vita.
The press release only mentions "winter" as the release period for the game, but given the chill in the Aussie air, that's likely very soon.
