Sony shot through a preview build of Sucker Punch's inFAMOUS for us today, and so we jumped into the fictional world of Empire City as normal everyday courier-turned electrically charged superhero, Cole MacGrath, to see what all this "sandbox superhero" nonsense was all about.

If you like blowing things up and electrocuting people, you're going to find some fun value in this, but we're still a bit weary as the preview build didn't leave us completely confident the desired goal from the dev team has made it through to the final product.

Among the myriad of games being thrust in our faces at TGS, we decided to take some time out to have a look at Sony's forthcoming open-world superhero romp, inFamous, from Sly Cooper series developer, Sucker Punch Games.

It's always tough entering the sandbox genre, especially when combined with the comic-book inspired superhero genre, but Sucker Punch are confident they can not only deliver a game that makes you feel like a savior, but also one that lets you choose the path of moral decisiveness: will you be good, or bad?

You can view our thoughts on the game right here, and be sure to check out our AusGamers
inFamous game page for screens and media.
