Adventure game fans will be more than familiar with Jane Jenson, who brought us the classic Gabriel Knight games and has now come out of modern-gaming hiding to put her stamp back on the classic point-and-click genre, which is making something of a collective comeback of late.

Gray Matter then, retains much of her story-telling and design ethos, while simultaneously gracing the Xbox 360 with a few modern updates. In the interest of keeping things classic though, we asked James Cottee to have a crack at the game on its platform of choice, the PC, and give us his full thoughts.
