Amidst a massive month of Scrolls, Charts, Battlefields and Duties, you could be forgiven for not noticing some of the lower-profile titles hitting shelves this holiday season. But that doesn't mean they're not worthy of our attention at all.

One such game is Activision's Goldeneye 007: Reloaded, a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 offering that aims to bring the James Bond sensitivities of the classic Nintendo 64 title to the HD era, in true reboot fashion.

Kozeeii gets cozy with this one for AusGamers and you can find out his largely positive thoughts in this review.

Late last month we reported that Activision had registered a host of URLs combining the words Goldeneye and Reloaded, and suggested it'd be likely this is related to a HD'ifying of Eurocom's former Wii exclusive reboot of GoldenEye 007 for Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network.

Turns out we were right and Activision do indeed intend to re-release the reboot for HD platforms, and aren't doing so lightly, either. According to reports, the game hasn't only received a facelift, but has been "reloaded" on an entirely new game-engine running at 60-fps and overhauled in the audio department, too.
GoldenEye 007: Reloaded is a contemporary James Bond experience featuring HD visuals and realistic environments running at 60-frames per second, akin to today’s elite action games. Additional to the legendary story campaign, the game introduces the brand new ‘Mi6 Ops Missions’ – new, distinct levels separate from the campaign that span the varied environments from the story and challenge players to complete different Assault, Elimination, Stealth and Defence objectives. GoldenEye 007: Reloaded also takes multiplayer to new heights, maintaining and improving its renowned four-player split-screen action and adding full, adrenaline-pumping 16-player online matches with more maps, weapons, characters and game modes than ever before.
Sounds tasty. Eurocom's re-imagining on Wii was a stellar effort, and should find a welcome place among shooter fans on Xbox 360 and PS3 with the above additions.
