No complaints about this series dragging on am I right? Dragging on, dragon, get it? Tough crowd. Well, in news that will surely please fans of Telltale's fantastic take on the Game of Thrones franchise, you will be pleased to know that the series will be getting it's final episode, titled 'The Ice Dragon', next month -- on November 17. More like Nice Dragon, am I right? Because this is good news. Ahem.

In order to celebrate the release of the final episode, and the upcoming full game release across multiple platforms on the same day, Telltale Games have release a new video showcasing the actors behind the game. And if you've been watching the HBO series A Game of Thrones, you should be able to recognise just about every face. And, have a detailed and emotional reaction to those faces based purely on their fictional counterpart's scheming and back-stabbery in the hit fantasy series.

"The epic conclusion to the season is the most ambitious and diversely presented episode we've ever produced," said Kevin Bruner, CEO and Co-Founder of Telltale Games. "The fate of House Forrester has been in the hands of players all season long, and the finale will be tailored to provide a uniquely harrowing conclusion for each and every player based on the decisions they've made in the game thus far."

Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us developer Telltale Games has given eager fans a clue as to what kind of setting we can expect their next choose-your-own-adventure title, Game of Thrones, will entail.

Posting on their official Twitter account, Telltale feature an image of a (non-spoiler) quote from the latest Game of Thrones book, A Dance with Dragons, highlighting a very specific family name. "...Trackers and hunters sworn to Deepwood with clan names such as Forrester and Woods, Branch and Bole," the excerpt reads.

The house in question is a minor one in George R.R. Martin's series, however going by this recent post we can expect it to be a feature in Telltale's story. In the series' lore, the Forrester family are sworn to House Glover of Deepwood Motte - a northern location which has popped up in both the books and TV series. Deepwood Motte in turn holds loyalty to House Stark of Winterfell.

Telltale has given no word yet on when we can expect the series, which is due out at some point on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

German publication GameStar have spent some quality time with Cyanide Studio's upcoming Game of Thrones RPG, and appear have the first real look at actual gameplay compiled into a German-language feature video (via: Evil Avatar).

Fortunately, you don't need to speak german to get the general gist of the combat mechanics and BioWare-esque dialogue navigation that is shown here. The French studio's previous efforts -- including the lackluster Game of Thrones RTS) have left many new fans of the franchise (following the success of the acclaimed HBO TV series) incredibly skeptical about their ability to deliver a worthy game. However perhaps comparisons to BioWare's original Dragon Age aren't a bad thing in this instance.

Cyanide Studio has just released several new screenshots for their upcoming Game of Thrones RPG, based on the epic series by George R.R. Martin and the popular HBO TV series. Today’s screenshots turn their focus to the enigmatic place that’s home to the House Harlton.
Fifteen years ago, the Lord of Castlewood chose to support the House Targaryen during the victorious rebellion of Robert Baratheon, and was sentenced to die for this treason.

His brother Arwood Harlton, loyal to King Robert, finally inherited Castlewood. Arwood is also known to be a great friend of House Sarwyck, and as the heir of Sarwyck family, you, Alester, will use Castlewood as a safe place to retreat if your quest turns too dangerous…

Castlewood is an original location, playing a key role in the video game while fitting into the existing “A Song Of Ice And Fire” saga. The township of Castlewood will be one of the many places the two heroes of the game – Mors, sworn brother of the Night's Watch, and Alester, the Red Priest – will explore and fight through. From King’s Landing and Red Keep to the Wall, an Epic quest awaits our heroes, guided by revenge, loyalty, honor, and family, along a twisting plot filled with betrayal and vicious hardships.
You can check out the screenshots below showing off the gorgeous detail put into this game, and if it's anything like the TV Series, it's one to definitely keep on your radar.

Game of Thrones will be available May 2012 on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360. Check out our game page where we have the latest news, info and screenshots.
