Warner Bros. Interactive have sent through a reminder their survival horror/fps outing, F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, is available across the country from today for purchase on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

You can nab the PC demo locally from us if you're keen to see if it's up your alley before spending any hard-earned cash, while Xbox 360 and PS3 owners can also download a demo for the game from their platform's respective marketplaces.

We've already posted our review of the final product, which you can check out here. Otherwise, head on in to our F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin game page for more.

The F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin singleplayer demo has landed a bit earlier than expected - you can download it locally from AusGamers right now. The blurb:
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2005 smash hit game, F.E.A.R., is a blend of advanced visceral combat mixed with seamless game pacing set inside a sinister and paranormal universe that begins shortly before the ending of F.E.A.R. A Special Forces squad is on a routine mission when the city of Auburn is rocked by a supernatural explosion. Alma, a girl with immense power and a thirst for revenge, has unleashed her wrath upon the city and thrown it into chaos. The squad must combat enemy forces and the supernatural as they struggle to find a way to stop Alma and uncover the mysterious forces arrayed against them before it’s too late.
The same demo is also now available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners, however PS3 users can only currently gain access this via the Qore paid subscription service.

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is due to hit PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Australia on February 11 2009. For more media and details stop by our detailed game page or check out our recent exclusive interview with Project Art Lead Dave Matthews right here in the AusGamers video library.

As promised last week, this week AusGamers was able to have a chat to Monolith's Dave Matthews about all things scary and first-person shooter in the build up to the February (Friday the 13th) release of F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.

For your digestible pleasure, we not only produced a pretty good quality video (if I do say so myself - nice work on post production Dan), but I've transcribed the whole thing for anyone still living in the dark ages with slow internet connection, or if you just don't wanna see my ugly mug.

The full video can be streamed here, and the transcript can be viewed here. For all other F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin related media and info, you can head over to our dedicated game page.
