If the Humble Bundle 9 wasn't already good enough value, it juiced up even more overnight, with the addition of indie titles Bastion, Limbo, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, and A Virus Named TOM to sweeten the pot for anyone that pays over the average price (currently only $4.66). If you'd previously bought in above the average, then you just scored four free games.

Bastion and Limbo alone are both widely acclaimed indie hits, and alongside Trine 2: Complete Story, Mark of the Ninja, Eets Munchies, BrĂ¼tal Legend, FTL: Faster Than Light, and FEZ this one is hugely recommended for anyone that doesn't already own the lot.

All games are provided as Steam keys, with most also available as a DRM-free download for PC, Mac and Linux. Check it.

We thought the wait would be quite a while, but it turns out Supergiant Games have been hard at work to deliver their promise of a PC edition of their critically acclaimed action-RPG romp, Bastion.

The news gets better though, as the title is slated to hit Steam on August 17 - just over a week away from now and features no DRM, Steam Cloud save support and a revamped control system to work best with the PC platform. In other words, it's definitely not a straight-up port.

You can pre-order the game now, and it'll set you back USD$14.99. For more on the game, check out our in-depth review (8.5/9).

The embargo has now lifted on one of the few games I not only finished in a single, very-many-houred sitting, but also went back for seconds for.

I, however, did not review this game, as it seemed too much like it belonged to our man Grizz, who's tough and grizzly exterior coupled with a raspy, whiskey-coated voice, just oozed synergy with Supergiant Games' first outing, Bastion. And he pretty much also held us at gunpoint to tell you about the game.

So, we gave it up, like the pussies we are, because a man whose beard can grow that thick with mere thought, is no man to be a messin' with.

E3 might have been full of Triple A games like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, BioShock Infinite or Batman: Arkham City, but there was no shortage of smaller, indie titles on the show-floor, and the one that stood out most for us was Bastion from newly formed studio, Supergiant Games.

Stemming from a team of just seven guys (who all essentially live together in one house), Bastion is a throwback to classic SNES games of yesteryear, but brings with it modern design sensibilities and just about the most unique story-delivery process ever crafted for a videogame. We'll have a review for this bad-boy coming pretty soon, but in the meantime, check out the video interview we did with the game's creative director, Greg Kasavin.

It was my stand-out surprise hit of the show, and now Warner Bros Interactive have released details on when we'll be able to get our hands on the indie-developed E3 smash, Bastion.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Supergiant Games are pleased to announce that Bastion, the award-winning action RPG for Xbox Live Arcade, will be premiering on July 20th, the first title to be released for the Microsoft Summer of Arcade line-up. The downloadable title will be available for 1200 Microsoft Points.
The game will also hit the PC a bit later in the year.

We'll have a full write-up on this gem in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
