The Rice Munchers have designed another Flying Car Concept. This one uses the wheels as propellors.

I read 'whales as propellers'

Disappointed.

I'll pipe up and say it's not a great concept.

Looking at the aerodynamics the wings have forward sweep (destabilising) AS WELL AS anhedral (destabilising).

I dunno, I think our first flying car might be more like a Cessna and less like a fighter aircraft (complexity = expense)

Judging by the shape of the body it seems to me the engine must be in the back, therefore you would need much more lift in the rear - so forward sweeping wings is crazy.

There is also no tail-plane, which yeah you could probably get away with if you had some ridiculous wing shifting stability algorithm, but again, crazily complex.

Exec summary: Don't invest, it won't fly.

Yeah basically it's pointless unless they have a working prototype. Any noob can draw a picture of an awesome looking vehicle. Reminds me of Ali G when he was looking for investors to make a hoverboard, and when the investors asked him how it would work he would say "That's where you come in... with the science.."
