Spotted: Somebody in S1
So who was driving a Silvia along Coronation Drive and REX around 6:40? I was shadowing you in the white squeaky-fanbelted soarer until the Stanley/Vulture Street exit.

V8 yep. Not sure what belt went on there, just had the major service done by an import mechanic.

theres a tension bolt you can adjust to tighten it up yourself.. Are you sure? I looked everywhere, asked on the soarer forums etc. I've resigned to using a bottle of no-squeel. PS. someone with one lend me your ECU so I can see if mine is screwed. |

Ahh, on the 1uzfe's they have a serpentine belt. This drives everything and has an auto-tensioner. The problem is the cars are imported and Repco etc sell off Landcruiser belts as replacements, there's two sizes, one is heaps too big and the other is a tiny bit too big.
I found out this after I'd installed and driven it for enough time for it to loosen up a bit and start squealing. So, about that S1 dude. last edited by Syco at 23:25:58 15/Jul/09 |

It was like ***GAL or something. Definitely wasn't maxe, I would've known by looking at him. Was a grey/silver colour.
