ps, falcons are cooler than r33s. bogans get more girls than it professionals. ironically, grimy (the owner of the xr6) is an IT professional. I can confirm it does 11's, he's got the 1/4 mile printouts somewhere, no idea about the details of whats been done, but ive been in it and its damm quick. |

I didn't blank it out in any of them they're my friends pictures that he uploaded (I said in my post it's my friends). My guess is the blanked out ones were just from the flash over exposing the plate.

Pretty easy to get power out of the XR6T's. Big Injectors, fuel and oil upgrades, 4" dump to 3.5" mandrel exhaust, PWR intercooler / oil cooler, bigger fuel and oil pump. Built 4 speed auto with 2300 stally. Cheers Striker. The Ford heads are fine, its the rod's you gotta watch. The Series I and early Series II Ba's have weak edit : normal rods. 320-330kw at the treads are the maximum safe-ish power to run. Some fellas run up to 400rwkw and go kaboooom within 12 months, see pic's of other peoples cars I've seen it happen to.
Mid Series II onwards, they upgraded them to the FPV Typhoon rods which were safe to 400. BF onwards got the new new rods which people have run over 400 with daily without too many failures (apart from the road racers who drive 101% all the time). 60 footer was done on Mickey T's so street legal semi slicks. sounds similar to the GTR engine.. once you start pushing past 300-320rwkw, the rods are the first thing to give way. Just finished a full forged rebuild on mine. ROSS pistons, Tomei Rods, ACL Race Bearings (rod and main), ARP Head and main studs, N1 block, lots of other good bits. should hit 450awkw (600hp) at ~25psi (t04z) on pump fuel :o can't wait to hit the track.

why did you sell it? Transmission drama. already spent 4k trying to fix it then it would've cost another 7k for a tko-600 with all the gear I needed to keep it reliable. Moving onto a Toyota Aristo JZ147 soon, looking at going another single turbo with screamer, all greddy gear, 6-sp conversion, lsd and coilovers + 19's. |
