I just watched the new star trek movie into darkness. The film is set where Capt Kirk and Dr Spock are younger than in the original tv series. But the technology used in Into darkness is more advanced than the technology used in the original tv show. which is set further in the future than Into Darkness.
Why did they stop using the advanced technology for?

I also have a similar problem. Chandler was best friends with Ross since college and he lives across the hall from Monica who is Ross' sister and has a crush on him. Isn't that like a really massive coincidence? Then add the connections with Rachel and that Phoebe mugged Ross when they were younger.... isn't that really unlikely in a city as big as NY? Not to mention that one episode where in the past all of them almost slept together not knowing they'd be friends in the future.... whoa

A question for the forum. In episode 2F09 when Itchy plays Scratchy's skeleton like a xylophone, he strikes the same rib twice in succession, yet he produces two clearly different tones. I mean, what are we to believe, that this is some sort of a magic xylophone or something? Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.

Why do Marty's family members slowly disappear from the photos? Wouldn't they (and him) disappear the instant the events transpired that screwed up his timeline?

Future spock probably technologied everything like when he gave them that teleporting algorithm, so as they say, a wizard did it.
