Where thanks to the new Magnetic keyword players will be able to combine cards for more powerful versions - just like all those robots from '80s cartoons. Launching August 8 in Australia the expansion introduces 135 new cards in addition to new gameplay mechanics. Like Omega cards which offer powerful bonuses when saved and played when you have 10 Mana Crystals.

The expansion is set around Dr. Boom's science and technology laboratory in the Netherstorm, where research has naturally led to some interesting and often surprising results.

As per the intro, special Mech minions are able to combine their attack, health, and abilities to "construct fearsome amalgamated automatons". All the new mechanics will play a central role in the new single-player experience The Puzzle Lab - which is set to be revealed in full closer to release date.

The Boomsday Project card packs are available to purchase now and come in two different options. A 50-pack bundle ($66.95 AUD) that includes a free random golden class Legendary and the Mecha-Jaraxxus card back. And an 80-pack Mega Bundle ($109.95 AUD) that also includes a new playable Warlock Hero Portrait - Mecha-Jaraxxus, Eredar Lord of the scientific community.
